Pilot light gas keeps cycling on/off

I am having an issue with my Carrier Super Saver, Model 58SSB080-BC, where the pilot light keeps turning on/off due to the gas supply to it cycling. Initially it was having another issue where it was sparking constantly (even when the flame was on), I took the pilot and cleaned it as best as I could. It doesn't seem to be sparking anymore, until the pilot goes out. Currently the best I can get it to do is to run the pilot for 10-20 seconds initially, then the gas starts pulsing.

Please let me know what I should try, it's getting cold in here, and I'd like to fix this asap. Thanks.

Sounds like a bad pick/ hold coil in the gas valve
