Exclamation Blower will not turn off

Carrier Furnace.
I have removed the wires from all the small round limit switches and checked for continuity. 2 on burners 1 near inducer fan and 1 near blower fan. also there is a square/rectangle shaped limit switch in the fire box ?? not sure if that is the right term but in either case it also checks as good. I removed the wire from the G terminal on the circuit board. and the motor still runs.
then I jumper-ed the wires where they run in series to all the limit switches. in essence removing all the limit switches and wiring from the equation. ( the orange set of wires going to the inducer and blower fan limit switches ) and the red set of wires going to the burners and heat box limit switches)
the blower motor still is not turning off.

Any Ideas ??

Welcome to the forum! It sounds like you have a stuck blower relay on the control board. If you look on the control board you will see some black rectangular relays. The relay for the blower is usually the largest one. You can carefully tap on the relay with the handle of a screwdriver to see if the blower will turn off. If it turns off, you will need to replace the control board.

actually was just returning to update this with that exact scenario.. I rapped on the relays with the back of a screwdriver and the blower motor turned off..
knowing I cant clean up the contacts of the sealed relay... (I still may cut it open and try for now) I found the same board part # on ebay and purchased one already. hopefully it works out of the box.. the seller had numerous ones and listed as New in box.
crossing my fingers

Thanks for replying

You are welcome and keep us posted! If it sticks again, hopefully you can keep it going until the new board arrives.

Board Arrived today and has been installed. so far it is working as designed.

The board looked Good in the box but the box and board was clearly not new and not unopened.
(I wish we could get a Double our money back gaurantee on auctions listed as new and getting something else.
Ebay is such a gamble...)

For now it is working and our furnace is happy.

I am not sure what I saved but I am guessing it would have been considerably more expensive had I called The HVAC Guy to come out and fix it.

Time spent Installing new board. at most 20 minutes that includes marking wires taking a photo and completing the installation.
Ease of installation. Simple
Would I do it again. YES of course
Would I recommend others to try this. YES of course

Thanks again for suggestions and advice
