To answer your question in one word, NO.
If you notice, there are a lot of old, well recognized, names all owned by Nordyne. There is not a nickel's worth of difference in comparable models. Same it true for those made by Johnson Controls, United Technologies, etc. Trane & American Standard are the same. Daikin, I believe, is Chinese & recently bought Goodman.
Trying to decide on a furnace based on reviews doesn't seem to work. Honestly, I would make my choice based on local service & parts availability. The extra you would pay for a really high end furnace of the size you seem to need, would likely never pay for itself.
All this being said, opinions are like a certain part of the anatomy, everybody has one.
