Oil burner won't reset?

I have a Beckett 7505 that shows no indication of any kind of problem, other than absolutely nothing happens on a call for heat. The red light is on so there is power, but, when reset, nothing happens? Thinking of just replacing the board?

I don’t have one (but looked into one a little bit, I need a newer control), but doesn’t the red light mean Hard Lockout? And if so don’t you need to hold the reset button for 15 seconds? Just mentioning that in case you didn’t hold it long enough – assuming that’s correct about the 15 seconds, lol. Could be wrong.

Zoesdad is correct. The reset button needs to be held down for at least 15 seconds. Upon release of the button, the red light should go out & it could be up to 30 seconds before the burner actually attempts to fire.
If the control goes into hard lockout again without firing, do not reset again. You have a problem which will require some troubleshooting.
