Trane gas furnace not lighting

Hello,
I have a Trane tue080a936k2 gas furnace. I have power to the board. The exhaust fan runs fine, the board flashes normal fast, the gas valve opens for about 4 seconds and closes down.

I have the thermostat set to "heat" and fan "on". The main blower motor does not come on or hum. I pulled the ignitor clip, and it only reads ~3 V

Tried turning the main shut off and resetting. No go.

Would the control board flash normal if it wasn't sending power to the ignitor?

Scratching head,

Michael

Welcome to the forums.

Does the burner actually light and stay lit for four seconds ?

That would be indicative of a dirty flame sensor rod.

PJ,
Thank you for the welcome and the response. The ignitor is getting almost no voltage (~3V), and unknown amperage, maybe almost none. The draft motor comes on normally. The burners do not light, and the air handler motor does not come on with fan on "auto". The control panel flashes normal call for heat.

Does anyone think that this is a bad control board, even though the LED flashes normal? If not the board, what bad sensors could duplicate the symptoms I mentioned? Again, the ignitor is getting very little or no power. The main blower does not come on, but the valve opens and releases gas, and the draft fan comes on normally.

Sorry for the bump, just can't seem to figure this one out, and I'm loath to buy a control board if not necessary.

Do you see the ignitor glowing? If not omh it out to see if it is cracked.

As I said, there is no power getting to the ignitor. I pulled the connector and tried to read voltage as the heater tried to kick on. So, no, it is not glowing. The gas comes on until the flame sensor times out and it shuts down.
