Furnace temperature won't go up

Hi Guys,

Need some helps on my heater; which is a gas heater. I live in northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Recently it is extremely cold here. This morning, I felt cold, and then check the thermostat temperature, it shows 58 degree. I push the up button, the heater doesn't kickoff. Any ideas what is the problem?

Appreciated for any helps.

Make and model number on the furnace? Check and see if you are getting a flash code in the furnace.

The definitions of the trouble codes is usually on the furnace panel if you have a diagnostic light present.

After counting the fast and slow flashes and taking note of the color of the LED's that are flashing, reset power with a heating demand and watch the sequence of events that occur as the furnace tries to start. post back with this information for further assistance. (As well as the make and model)
