Retrofit oil cut off solenoid, where would it go?

I know I can get a Suntec pump with a fuel cut off valve built in. For a few reasons I won't go into, I'm trying to avoid that. I was thinking about adding a stand alone solenoid instead, I know several companies make them. My question is, where would it go? Before the pump or between the pump and the nozzle?

My little research seems to say the cut off on the built in one is after the pump, before the nozzle. I was just hoping someone would shed some light on that, and retrofit solenoids. Thanks.

Between the pump discharge and the nozzle.

After looking at more of the Suntec units it seems self explanatory. Before that I was only looking at "in line" type valves. Thanks.
