Trane packaged unit: trouble code 2

I have a Trane High E packaged gas heat and AC unit outside. When ever the weather is damp or rains the furnace try's to start but shuts down and sets a
code 2.
I have replaced the igniter and still does it.
Service people blame the air filter but I have replaced it many times when they come out they reset the computer and it starts but they never have fixed the problem. This has been going on for 4 years.

Now the unit is out of general warranty, but I would have called Trane direct. You paid top dollar for a quality unit and you expect it to work correctly.

Your two flash code is: System Lockout: Failed to detect or sustain flame.
Normally I'd say to clean the flame sensor rod. I would have thought your "techs" cleaned it.

You mentioned you replaced the igniter. The manual shows and mentions a spark ignition. What did you replace ?

The Tech cleaned the igniter and I ordered a new one and installed it with no improvement. I have had 5 companies work one the unit in 4 years. Have you a phone number for Trane. I am leaning toward the PS its a possibility. What do you think.
