York Diamond 80 not igniting
Hoping for some help.
My gas furnace had been working ok, until last wknd. Last wknd I installed a new gas stove and also changed the iron gas inlet pipe to my furnace - shortened from 14" to 12". I didn't change anything else on the furnace and now, it starts, blower starts up, igniter works, the gas valve wires are reading 25volts during the ignition phase, but no gas is released and it doesn't ignite. I've rechecked the pipes, cleaned the igniter, the flame sensor, contacts for the gas valve, but nothing. I don't smell any gas being released. I listened for any clicks at the gas valve and I didn't hear anything. I checked the circuit board and all seems fine - tightened up all the screws.
My gas water heater and gas stove have been working great - but not the furnace.
Ideas? Could it be the gas valve switch or even the gas valve itself?

Welcome to the forums.
Many gas valves have a switch or shut off valve on them. Check that first.
You should only see 24vac on the gas valve for just a few seconds if the burner doesn't light immediately.
The full model of the furnace would probably be helpful.

switch at gas valve is on. Just tested again and my multimeter is reading more than 24volts at the gas valve terminals for sure - more like 29 for just a few seconds and then drops back to 0.
