Combustion chamber liner replacement? or not?

my liner in my oil Combustion chamber is about 12 years old and about 60-70 % complete, it has been torn up during clean up. should I leave it as is or replace it? Would waiting a few more years cause any serious damage?
I have a cast iron unit should I use wet or dry replacement?
thanks

Several well lit and in focus pictures of the combustion chamber/liner as well as the manufacturer and model of the equipment (boiler and burner each) would go a long way in giving you a definitive answer.
