Furnace inducer problem

induction motor clicks on for a few seconds then off.

Welcome to the forums.

Not a typical problem. Usually the inducer wont run or runs for 30 seconds and then defaults. Most furnaces have a sight glass in the blower door to see a blinking LED trouble light.

Post the make and model so I can give you more detailed information. The ID tag is located on the inside wall near the burner.

I'm on the road and will return later. Try getting a trouble code from the furnace too.
Also.... if you have a battery operated thermostat.... you may need new batteries.
