York Dual Fuel (Heat Pump and Propane) - 13 Red Flash Error Code

Anyone know what the 13 red flashing lights in a row mean for a York dual fuel furnace? The control board is: 642768 (HSCI-1170-83-122A). This is the second generation control board. Also, are these systems known to have issues? I have 3 units that are 7 years old and have had to replace the DC motors, the motor controllers, the inside and outside control boards. I spend almost $2K a year just keeping them running - from my perspective they are junk but at $24K I can't afford to replace them.

Also, the inside units have 2 lights - one that gives the error codes and one for... I think power. On one of the units, the power light flashes very rapidly - almost spastic and can't be counted because it looks like a flickering light.

Welcome to the forums.

The fault codes should be listed on the back of the blower door. In case they aren't... a trouble code 13 is a flame rollout sensor tripped. That would be a thermal switch with two wires on it and a little red button located near the burner area. Pushing the red button in will reset it but the reason for the rollout needs to be looked into.

You need to actually watch the flame when the burner lights and then keep watching it as the blower starts. The blower should not cause an exceptional change in the flame pattern.
