York Diamond 80, with stat off, the fan started itself and never stopped

I have York Diamond 80 furnace. Some day, when the stat was in off status, the fan started itself and kept running for ever. I disconnected the power supply and reconnected it, the furnace was quiet for about 1 hour, then the fan started itself again and couldn't be turned off. I replaced the filter but the problem is still there. Any idea?

yes, when I reconnected the power supply, it worked normal. The furnace was ignited when I set the temp higher than the room temp and the fan also started. And I was able to turn it off including fan by operate in stat. But about one hour later, the fan started itself and couldn't be turned off anymore.

York Diamond 80 is just a trade name.

The full model number is needed for your furnace.
It will be on an ID tag on the inside wall near the burner.
