Blower not working

Fuel caught fire in furnace I was able to get it out with a hose. I didn't use very much water but now my blower won't come on. The fuel pump comes on and lights but blower won't come on. So do you think it needs to dry. I checked breakers there on. Should I try to flip breaker off and back on. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you

Welcome to the forums.

Can we assume this is an oil fired furnace ??

You're saying the burner lights normally and runs for a few minutes but the main blower never starts ?

We're probably going to need a make and model for this appliance.

Lesson learned...... keep a proper fire extinguisher in the area as water should not be used in/on an oil fire. The water can spread the oil and the flames.

Have you looked at the blower motor ?
Is it direct or belt driven ?
Is it frozen ?

Finding little to no technical info on that unit.
A few pictures of the insides posted here would be helpful. http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...-pictures.html

Here's an older thread on the same oil fired furnace.
