Furnace blower won't shut off

Had a cold night a few days ago and used our gas furnace. Now the blower won't shut off and will constantly run unless I shut the power at the furnace. Any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums.

If you set the stat to heat.... will the furnace light normally ?

The make and model of the furnace would be helpful.
The ID tag is inside on the side wall near the burner.

Yes, the heat will run normally but when the temp is reached the heat shuts off but the blower continues to run. I'll have to check on the make and model number. It is in a rental unit that we have so I have to get back i and check.

Since it's a rental.... best to inform the landlord.
