Low water cut off- no green light on
My gas steam boiler is working fine, however, the Mcdonell Miller Low Water Cut Off doesn't have the green light on as I usually remember. When I press the test button a orange/amber light goes on, but doesn't do anything else.
When I drain the boiler, the probe and LWCO call for water to the feeder and it feeds automatically, and the boiler resumes.
Everything seems ok, I'm just wondering what happened. If there was a problem it would not allow the boiler to work I assume.
