Conquest 80 (2005) gas furnace won't start.
I mean 2005, not 1995.
The blower starts up. Runs for a bit, then shuts off. I never hear a clicking or see any flame. I cut power to it. Turned off the gas valve, waited 5 minutes, and turned gas valve back on. Then gave it power. Same thing. When I did this, I smelled a hint of propane - just enough that I think the valve is working but don't suspect a problem with it.
I have a multimeter, but this is in a crawl space, so a bit of a pain to work on. Should I just replace the igniter and see if that fixes it before moving on? If there was a clicking sound, I did not hear it. Anyone know what part number would work given my gas valve? Thank you.

It is usually obvious when the ignitor is broken.
They usually measure around 60 Ohms but if you see a crack it requires replacement.

There should be diagnostic code lights that will blink a code to help determine what the problem is if you can see them during startup. Look up the codes and how to read them from the mfg. site or owners manual.

Changed the title and reoriented the pictures.
From what I can see in the one picture... the igniter looks worn. If you observe the start up process and never see it glow.... it needs to be checked. There won't be a dedicated code for the igniter.
