Furnace cycling ON & OFF

My furnace is cycling ON for approx 1 min 15 sec then off for 58 seconds then back back for 1 min 15 sec.

Heil unit 30 yrs old
Cleaned secondary heat ex-changer & blower, made sure all vents where open and returns were free from anything obstruction airflow yesterday and it is stll cycling OFF-ON

Any ideas? The unit is still heating the house fine.

I know it an old unit, just want to see if it can be fixed wo large expense before i have to purchase a new unit/

any help would be greatly appreicated

Sounds like the Hi-Limit is tripping. Check the supply temp and let us know.

It does sound like it's tripping on high heat but that rate is pretty fast. Usually the time periods are slightly longer.

Do you know what controls the blower in your furnace ?
A fan/limit control, directly from the board or..... ?

You could try posting the model number which is on an ID tag inside near the burner.
