Natural Gas Measured

A natural gas supplier rep told me that he measured 0.4 ppm of natural gas coming from my outside furnace exhaust. He found none in my in-house vents. He suggested that the furnace be cleaned my a furnace service technician. The technician found nothing wrong with the operation and no gas smell. He did not understand the gas reps measurement or the cause. Is this something that I should be further concerned with?

was that test with the furnace running or not?

very tiny chance you have a gas valve with a small leak, passing tiny amount of gas while the unit isn't running.
