Heat not turning on, open rollout switch circuit code

I'm getting an open rollout switch circuit code from my Lennox furnace. Here is what happens when I turn the heat on: The draft inducer kicks on and runs for a few minutes, then turns off. The hot surface ignitor never gets hot. I can turn off the furnace and turn it back on and it runs through the exact same cycle again. I am unsure if there is gas coming through or not. I tested the continuity of the ignitor and it tested good, however I don't know if it would test bad or not anyways because it is a solid stick ignitor, not one that has clear cut path of metal. I can get a new ignitor today, but it is almost 100 dollars so I want to make sure that is the actual problem before purchasing it. My main question is if something is clogged, such as the vent on the roof, will this cause the ignitor not to heat at all? I thought that it would ignite, run for a few minutes, and then it would realize it's clogged and shut down. Maybe this is not the case. Any help or direction would be great. Thank you!

Welcome to the forums.

A model number of the furnace can be very helpful.

If you are getting an open rollout switch code then that's your problem. The igniter will not light with any safety tripped. The rollout switches are directly over the burner and may have red pushbuttons on them for resetting. If one of those has tripped then you need to look into a plugged flue.
