No Flame
I’m working on a Nordyne Gas Furnace (L1RA072C-12B)I originally wasn’t getting a signal from the thermostat for Heat , replaced the Thermostat now get a signal but the inducer motor was bad, power but no start up that also replaced ....... now going through the sequence it gets all the way to the HSI glowing and nothing more
now I have replaced the circuit board thinking it wasn’t getting 24v to the gas valve to open up but with a brand new board it continued to do the same thing so went back to the old board and put a new gas valve on and even made sure it wasn’t stuck, I have put my 24v transformer wires to the gas valve just to ensure working properly and it does so I’m back to the board
am I missing something on why the gas valve would not receive the signal to open after the glow ?

I thought about the pressure switch but I thought it only mattered at the beginning stage after the inducer which is why the igniter gets the glow but I could be wrong and at this point I can try it I tested all the limit switches they all turned out fine
I also don’t get any flashes it’s jist in normal operation mode

I'm on an extended outage so I can't access all my service files.
Does that furnace have two pressure switches ?
Many do. One is connected to the draft inducer and the other senses burning chamber pressure.
Look at the wiring diagram to see if the gas valve is powered directly from the board or there is something inline. Wouldn't be a flame sensor issue. (no flame)

Hey thanks for the reply I actually replaced the pressure switch and now I get a flame but it short cycles I honestly think the issue from the start is the air flow with inducer in the flue plan to check to make sure it’s not clogged I’ve already cleaned the flame sensor and tested it with meter
