I have a question on my furnace. Not sure if its a problem...just seems weird. Furnace fires fine when heat is asked for. Burners light and run...but then shut off before blower motor starts. I mean a good 30 to 45 seconds between burners shutting off and blower motor starting. Is this right?

Welcome to the forums.

That furnace is approaching 30 years old. Have you had it professionally cleaned and serviced ?
Heat exchangers rust thru with age.
It looks like it's a standing pilot light furnace...... is that correct ?

No, it is not right.
To re-ask PJs question, has the unit been inspected for heat exchanger cracks? That’s a very real problem and a very real danger.
