Lennox gas furnace doesn't ignite
Furnance blower comes on when heating is activated but gas burners do not come on. I checked the hsi and got 37 ohms on that but when heat is needed it doesn't glow red as it should.

We'll need more information than that. A model of the furnace is helpful. It can be found on an ID tag on the inside side wall near the burner. Pictures are also very helpful......... How-to-insert-pictures
If that furnace has an igniter then it should have a draft inducer..... is that running ?
Is there a sight glass in the blower ? If there is...... look in for a blinking LED. That should blink a fault code. Once you get the code you can find them listed on the back of the blower door.

Model number is CX 34 43c 6f 1. I got back home thinking it was the hsi but it wasn't. Got a reading of 38 ohms on that. I had the unit switched off for a little bit and when I turned it on the blower motor kicked on in top part of unit then cut off then came back on, I saw the hsi turn red and then it fired shortly after. My circuit board is displaying normal lights for operation. Getting ready to see if I can clean my drain lines, I think the pressure switch wasn't closing properly to allow unit to fire.

That is a sophisticated furnace. It does have a control board and it should be showing a fault.

The lights are not showing a fault. But I'm not getting 24 volts across both contacts on the pressure switch. So I'm guessing it's not the pressure switch and the lead that's not reading 24 goes to the control panel

Here is the picture of the pressure switch, the top wire shows 26 volts from that brown board to top of pressure switch, but i am not getting any current from the bottom purple wire shown with lead in it. not sure which way current travels thru this. everything i read says that pressure switches normally dont fail.

You put one meter lead on each lead of the pressure switch. There is no polarity. When the furnace is sitting there idle you should measure 24vAC. That means the pressure switch is open and that is normal. After a call for heat and the inducer starts..... there should be 0v across the switch.
