Still no heat

Hello all, new to the forum and I purchased a poorly built home that needs lots of TLC. Currently am having furnace issues.

I have tried the aforementioned troubleshooting tips mentioned in this thread to no avail. The furnace is still not letting gas pass through the control valve. The glow plug is red hot and I have confirmed power at the valve with a multi-meter. The power spikes up for the 5 seconds during the ignition attempt as it should and returns when it does not fire. I am interpreting this to mean that the control valve needs a cleaning or replacement. Any other ideas?

1996 model Ruud 90 Plus with a glow type ignitor with a Honeywell VR8205H8016 valve converted to LP.

Any rex on how to repair/clean this valve?

Any rex on where to buy a replacement?

TIA

What is incoming gas pressure?
What voltage is being read at the valve?
Gas valves are not serviceable. Once they fail they get replaced.

Welcome to the forums.

Like previously mentioned.... when a gas valve fails..... it gets replaced.
Try wiggling the plug on the gas valve when it should ignite. Also.... if the valve has an on/off switch...... try excercising that a few times.
