Bad gas control valve?

I have had a show of recent problems with my furnace, from a bad ignitor, and a bad control board. Both I have replaced with new/upgraded parts. The control board is a ICM286, and the furnace is a Goodman GDS80703ANA. The blower comes on, ignitor gets red hot, and has valve never opens .I can hear the relay clicking if I turn the gas valve switch off. When it's on, it doesn't open or ignite, and it then starts up the main fan, then she's off and locks out. The red LED is flashing consistently about a second apart.

New control board worked fine when it was installed, but after a week or so something has quit working. I have cleaned the flame sensor as well recently.

Welcome to the forums.

I can hear the relay clicking if I turn the gas valve switch off.
Sorry..... that doesn't make any sense.
Does the relay not click if the gas valve is on ??

Did you check and confirm you were getting 24vAC ON the gas valve when it should be opening ?
Gas valves rarely go bad. Intermittent connections are very common.

You need to confirm gas pressure and voltage to the gas valve, before replacing it.
