Armstron Ultra 80 Oil Furnace
I have an old Armstrong Ultra 80 Oil furnace that is connected to a AprilAire system.
My first question: Is the only filter on this furnace the one on the April Aire System or is there another filter? I have looked but I cannot find it.
Second question: When the furnace reaches the desired thermostat temp it shuts down like it should. The problem comes in when the thermostat dips below the set temp the furnace doesn't turn back on. The way I have to get it to work is to actually walk down to it and hit it in a certain spot. Once I hit it in the right spot then it works like a charm.
Any suggestions on the filter and how I can stop playing the part of the Fonz and the furnace playing the part of the Jukebox?
