Honeywell S8610U3009 Confusion

Hello,

So I have the Honeywell S8610U3009. But, I'm replacing an Honeywell S86F. What I'm having trouble figuring out is what wire goes to what since it doesn't look like its 1 to 1. I've read the manual a few times over but I just don't get it.

Anyone have any idea where I should start?
Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

MV, MV/PV, PV and burner ground are direct swap overs.
24V (1) goes to 24V GND
24V (2) goes to TH/W.

The 24V terminal is not used.

Thank you for that PJ.

So is the red wire the 24V then?

No.... the decals don't always align with the actual terminals. The order is what is important.

MV = red.
MV/PV = green.
PV = white.
Burner GND = black.
