old gas furnace wont stay running

so i am trying to get a 20 year old propane furnace running. it was not used for the last 5 years or so. initially got a code for a bad gas valve relay. changed the main board. then got no ignition. changed the ignitor. now it fires right up, goes through all the steps and i get heat, problem after it runs a few minutes the blower turns off and the unit overheats and shuts down. i have tried running the fan only with no heat, and same thing, fan runs a few minutes and then turns off. does not flash any codes. does the capaciter help keep the motor running or is just for start up. can it be that the motor gets hot for some reason and just turns off

does the fan motor get very hot?

maybe it's shutting off on thermal overload. the bearing may be tight after sitting for a long time.

I'd start by replacing the blower motor capacitor. They are inexpensive ($10-15). and usually easy to replace. If that doesn't do it, it's probably motor time.
