motor/blower tries to start...then cuts off
I have a Magic Chef model: EG6A75DC8-11
the pilot lights, gas ignites, runs for about 1 minute, the motor/blower tries to start, then it cuts off.
Can anyone help?
(Without getting a new furnace)
Thank you!

Welcome to the forums.
That's a pretty old furnace. Probably nearing thirty years old.
I'd imagine the blower motor may be tired.
It could be as simple as simple as a defective run capacitor or it can be worn motor bearings.
Does the motor spin easily by hand ?
See if it's warm/hot when it cuts out.
Many try changing the cap first as it's roughly a $10 part.
