burner corrosion on new furnace

98% efficient new furnace"Carrier", has corrosion on all 3 of the burners. was suggested by the installer that the location of the Spa was too close to the air intake and off gasses from tub were the cause of the corrosion. the hot tub is 8' from intake and exhaust. burners were removed and cleaned and now the furnace is working. the furnace is 1year old....Any body heard of this before???

exhaust and intake being too close together can cause that.

The exhaust and intake exceed the min distance from each other...not the problem

does your spa have water treatment chemicals in it?

with the wind in the right direction, the intake could be drawing in vapour coming off the spa.
