Rebuilding oil furnace
hello,
My basement was flooded last month and my oil furnace was broke and i can't find the parts for it, it's an old model.
so i decided to rebuilt it by putting a new beckett burner b2007 on it, new fan/switch limit.
my question is: how to control the speed of the fan as it has 3 speed wires? And i don't see any terminals for it in the burner control.
how to rewire a new thermostat that has fan control with the burner's control that have only 2 wires for it?
Thank you for your help.

Welcome to the forums.
The blower was not designed to run installed as a three speed blower. You pick the correct speed to allow the heat rise to stay within specs. Typically you would use the medium or slow speed wiring.
The burner control does not control the blower. That's what the fan/limit control is for. Your blower is controlled by that.
If you are just replacing parts..... the wiring should already be in place. If you are starting from scratch.... your new parts should come with wiring diagrams. If not..... you'll need to post what you got.

If the unit has been flooded and the unit was under water, and it’s old enough that no parts are available anymore, you’d probably be best replacing the furnace.
Has the heat exchanger been checked and verified ok?

Thank you for your answers,
well i can't afford a new furnace for now as i have flood damages to fix so i decided to just fix it with upgraded parts a beckett b2007 burner and new switch/limit, my furnace is a 30 years old, it's LBF80B84/95D16-4A no parts for it anymore....i checked the heat exchanger it looks ok, the combustion chamber looks good.
- my next question is how wire the new burner beckett b2007 that has a genisys 7505 controller with 2 thermostat wire's terminals with the new a thermostat that has a fan control and 3 wires for the heat?
thank you.

Thermostat connects to the primary.
The fan control just controls the blower and high limit for the burner.
You’ll have to get a combustion analysis done to set the burner up when it’s installed.
Residential equipment isn’t meant to be overhauled. Your insurance will not help with a new furnace?

The insurance didn't wanna pay it..they said it wasn't included in the policy.
After i checked in the furnace diagram i found that they use two speeds for the fan, they use one wire going from the limit/fun switch to a relay (7489b001) energized with 2 wires 24v coming from a transformer inside the burner unit !!!! The new beckett burner b2007 doesn't have a transformer to 24v!!!! So my question is can i pick up one speed(medium) and wire it directly to the limit/fan switch so i won't use the relay and a possible transformer?
thank you.

The only reason for two speed operation is if there is also A/C.
If it's just heat....... the fan/limit switch can control the medium speed winding directly.

There's no a/c.
i found that beckett has an addon kit that provide a transformer and control that replace the old burner's controllers that my furnace had (https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.supplyhouse.com/product_files/Beckett-51950U-User-Guide.pdf) and it's suitable with the new thermostats.
what would you advice me, stack with the old diagram with the relays and the new kit? Or make it simple with only the limit switch?
also can you please clarify me to how the heat relay control the two fan speeds?

In order to have two speed operation..... you need a fan center with a transformer and a relay for high speed while the fan/limit switch controls the medium speed.
