Goodman furnace GMT040-3B
it was manufactured 199 installed by my 2007 in basement ,used to mix air by blower (to help dehumidifier ) and heat in winter it always had min 30 sec. purge ? but now shows continues blinking red and now action only blower blower will run with disconnected T-stat . Got new c. board ( used one) from ebay (nobady sells new one) ,same ,but fried it by following the advice "reversed polarity 120 V" ?? ,I tried 3 different receptacles

Welcome to the forums.
That should use a B1809913S control board which is still available.
Look on the back of the blower door...... that code should be listed.
It sounds like you have an open high limit switch as that will keep the main blower running but it usually sets a certain code.
