I am replacing my 27 year old furnace and AC. My home is only 1150 sq. feet and someone put a 92,000btu in it. I found a 95% Trane downflow with two stage and multi speed [New in box] for $900, It is 60,000btu high, My mane duct is 9x14 so according to chart is ok square inch cfm for 60,000btu?? Will be LP, Does this sound ok?? AC I found a YORK AC unit with A-coil [13 seer] for $885 will fit bottom of furnace and is 2 1/2 ton They had two AC units both York--same size and seer New in box--But one is bigger in size than the other and took more Freon than other how can this be if all specs are the same??. Both 2 1/2 ton? One more thing? What the heck is this? Years ago I was researching something for work and I read a review of the Series Mark II Manometer from Dwyer. One of the reviews was a person who mentioned that they installed one on their home heating system to monitor when they needed to change their air filter. For some reason that stuck with me. Last year we had a new furnace installed and we opted for the reusable/cleanable filter. It's a pretty fine mesh and the airflow diminishes quickly. I thought a pressure drop monitor would be a good idea. I'm not 100% sure how to install the thing though. Does anyone have pictures or instructions for how to do this? I've searched for videos and images online, but I'm still not sure I understand the exact installation (I've found decent instructions for installing a magnehelic gauge. Is that the same thing?) Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
