Gas Furnace won't turn on.

I have a Rheem gas furnace with an HS780 ignition control module. I just bought a new surface ignitor because the old one was cracked. When I turn on the furnace I hear a few clicks but nothing happens. No spark, No gas, and ignitor won't glow. No blower. The fan will work if I turn it on from the thermostat but will not turn on automatically. Pleas help.

Was the furnace operating correctly before changing the ignitor?

First, is there any errors showing?
Is the furnace getting a call to run?

There won't be any spark with a surface igniter.
On a call for heat...... does the draft inducer start running ?
I'm guessing yes.

Do you have a meter ?
Check the continuity of the hot surface igniter. You may have cracked it.
Check the voltage on the igniter line. It should be 120vAC approx 15 seconds after inducer starts.
