Gas fireplace insert
We are shopping for a gas fireplace insert. Any recommendations for the ignition system - millivolt or electronic?

Propane or natural gas.
I have a millivolt system and it's fine. It does have a rather large pilot flame as does most of the fireplaces. Electronic ignition will save you money on fuel costs.
My choice..... millivolt.
On edit: an additional plus is a millivolt fireplace will operate in a power failure.
