Fan noise before shutting off

Furnace fan runs fine but becomes noisy (vibration?) In the reduced speed cycle (I suppose after burner is turned off). It started several days ago. I don't think it is an old fan. About 10 years or less. I have to check receipts for exact age. What would you suspect? Thank you.

Fan has a low speed imbalance. Maybe a weight clip has slipped or fell off or a fan blade got damaged. Only way to know is to remove and examine fan. Could also be motor bearings need lubrication if not the sealed type.

I will check the blower as advised. I have a related question. If the blower motor is faulty, will I be able to replace a variable speed (Carrier) with a single speed blower motor? By the way, the furnace is 15 years old. Blower motor was replaced about 10 years ago. Thank you.
