Talking Bryant (carrier) furnace model 395B

Hi, I have an old Bryant furnace that I want to relocate to my pole barn. It is converted for LP gas. I was wondering if the furnace can be installed horizontally? When it was installed in my house. It was in the up right position with return air coming in the side and the supply air coming out of the top. Relocated, I would keep the same furnace air in and out openings except the furnace would be rotated 90 degrees. The installation manual does not indicate any other installation positions other than how it was installed in the house. Any ideas?

If the manual shows/states only an upflow configuration, upflow only it is.
