Lennox G-14 fan& limit control
I have a Lennox gas furnace model # G1403-80-3 it’s around year 1980 the fan and limit control went out I have a new one but it is 4 wires the old one was 6 wires the 2 in the middle of control are missing question is can I use the new one or have to look for 6 wires one any help would be appreciated

Those 2 wires in the center are for a "pre-heater". A small current is applied to the fan-limit to bring the fan on sooner than by temperature in the furnace alone. I'm not sure but I don't believe that control is still made.

5" Fan & Limit Time Delay Switch (6 wire hook up)(Honeywell) (hvacpartsusa.com) -You would have to confirm that it is the proper length-

Looks like an old Pulse furnace. Make sure you have the heat exchanger checked as most of the units were recalled and are off the market.

Correction on previous post Fan&limit control

The two middle wires go to an internal heater to start the blower in a defined set time period.... usually 30 seconds. If you don't use that heater it may take several minutes for the blower to start.

It is very important to first check the heat exchanger in that unit, and confirm it’s ok. If it’s not, then there’s a safety issue that needs to be dealt with.
