Furnace exhaust fan running...

I have an older York plus furnace if I leave the furnace on for a period of time the exhaust fan continues to run after it is cycled off the only way to shut it down is to turn thermostat off or switch by furnace off for a few minutes once I turn it back on or turn the thermostat back on furnace will fire up in normal sequence it will stay running till heat is reached turn off and may cycle correctly for a few cycles but then goes back to leaving the exhaust fan on constant and I’ll need to shut everything down again... any help would be appreciated...

What is the model number?

Disconnect the W wire off the control board.
If it still remains running.... the draft inducer relay may be sticking requiring a board replacement.

What are you using for a thermostat ?
There are several power stealing (smart/wifi) types that can cause a drain on the W line keeping the inducer running.
