Hello. I have a Bock 32E water heater. It’s controlled with a Carlin EZ-Temp aqua stat. I came downstairs yesterday and the aqua stat was buzzing, stuck on “Call For Heat”, but there were no noises, lights or activity from the burner unit. I have unplugged several times, it always goes back to “Call For Heat”. Any ideas? Thank you.

Is a tripped burner primary a condition where you have a blinking light on the burner, next to the control module? If so, that isn’t happening. I have pressed the little red button on the burner and watched it and there is no activity whatsoever. If that’s not what you’re talking about, then I probably missed it.
It will blink in a lockout.
If that’s not the issue you’ll have to get your meter out and trace where the power is dropping out. You’ll be testing live high voltage.
Ok, yeah there’s no blinking. It has a code on the burner control module thing that illustrates how it would blink in a “lockout” or “latch up” or something, but I have no light, at all. So open the control module on top of the burner, plug it in and see if there’s 110v coming in from the aqua stat control? That makes sense.
Sorry but what does the aqua stat being closed mean? Like, open the box and check to see if the circuit closed and should be sending power to the burner?
Hi, it appears you have a call for heat because the light on the control is lite, Hi limit on that control could be opened.
fill in the blanks in this link and see if it is helpful.
I have an older York plus furnace if I leave the furnace on for a period of time the exhaust fan continues to run after it is cycled off the only way to shut it down is to turn thermostat off or switch by furnace off for a few minutes once I turn it back on or turn the thermostat back on furnace will fire up in normal sequence it will stay running till heat is reached turn off and may cycle correctly for a few cycles but then goes back to leaving the exhaust fan on constant and I’ll need to shut everything down again... any help would be appreciated...
I own 8 year old Lennox ML193UH natural gas furnace. About once every 4-5 days when the burner fires up it will roar, similar to a jet taking off, for about 3-4 seconds. After the roaring start it will work fine for the next several days and perhaps 60+ ignition sequences. There are no error codes being set.
The 'roar' is about twice as loud as the normal noise of the furnace normal firing noise but as I said only lasts a few seconds.
Any suggestions as to what is going on.
Thank you
