My furnace was working fine until yesterday, now it won't light. The ignitor wouldn't glow at all so I replaced it. Same problem, the ignitor won't come on. Any suggestions? Could it be the thermostat?

You didn't say what furnace you have so I can't offer specifics. But, you also have a control circuit board, wiring and connectors that could be the culprit.
I put a volt meter on the leads to the ignitor. Then turn on the furnace and see if it's sending power to the ignitor. If yes then it's a bad ignitor. If no then the problem is somewhere else upstream like a broken wire, loose connector or bad control board (which is often a cracked solder joint where the connector pin attaches to the circuit board).
