Trane furnace: pressure switch error

House built 3 and 1/2 years ago with XR95 furnace installed when built. Won’t put out any heat today. Light shows 3 flashes the pauses. Manual says this is a pressure switch error. Any tips on what I can check at home before calling for service on Monday?

If you can locate the switch try tapping on it firmly with your finger tips to see if the furnace starts up, if it does you need to change the switch. That is how I found my switch was bad, it would work for awhile and quit again so I would tap on it and it would start working again. Just a shot in the dark but worth a try.

Pressure switches rarely go bad and especially on a furnace that new. My guess is you have a problem in the exhaust vent line. Possibly something plugging it outside.

XR95 is just a group. The model number is inside on the side wall near the burner on an ID tag.
That is a condensing furnace..... you may have plugged condensate drain lines.
