furnace trips off
my Goodman GMS9 furnace starts up and runs for a short time and then trips. There no codes. If I turn off the main breaker and turn it back on it starts again and then in a short time trips again. If I leave the door off of the section where the circuit board and blower and wiring are, the unit runs normally. If I put the door back on it trips again.

Welcome to the forums.
The replacement board shows a fault LED. There's no LED on your board ?
You're describing an overheating problem.
That's usually cause by a dirty filter, dirty blower wheel, clogged A/C evaporator coil, too many closed registers or blocked returns.

there is an LED on my board and I get no codes. new filter. registers are open, no blocked returns. If It was tripping because of a high temperature limit switch I would think I would get a code. Could the board be going bad?

Post the part number off the board.
There should be a list of codes on the back of the blower door.

I replaced the board and everything worked fine. I looked through a lot of threads of similar problems because I didn't want to put in the new board and have the furnace not work. Thanks to all the people who submitted various threads. They were very useful.
