Dear All: In late September 2021 my house got a new furnace ( Thermo Pride, Spirit VHF-ABP) and A/C equipment, Since the start of the heating season, my basement smells of burnt heating oil almost every day. I had the technician come two times, he checked the furnace, took some measurements looked into the chimney - everything was fine according to him. I had two furnaces before and never had this smell until now. The smell of burnt heating oil is pretty strong in the basement and somewhat throughout the house. I'm concerned about the proper function of the furnace and maybe any CO or health issues. I appreciate your comments. Best wishes Henning

I know the code refers to an issue with the exhaust or high pressure switch, but it also mentions high winds. I had a tech out who found no issue with the electonics . I believe my issue is due to winds, even as low as 12-15 mph which I don't think of as high, are knocking it out, but when the winds are below 5-6 it runs fine. Is there anything that can be done to improve this? It's super annoying how often it's getting into this state, and usually on the coldest of nights
