Unhappy Nordyne Furnace Not Staying On

Hello recently purchased a home and its now becoming cold. I've had the furnace on once for around 15 minutes about a month ago and everything was fine, but something has changed. So, my problem is ill turn the furnace on, the ignitor will turn on followed shortly by the gas producing flame, a couple seconds later and everything turns off. I'm getting 4 red light flashes (Ignition failure check ground) and yellow light remains off which indicates no flame sensed. I've replaced flame sensor and put a meter on it in series receiving roughly 2 - 2.5 microamps. I assume that means my flame sensor is communicating but nothing is listening.

Furnace is a Nordyne FG6RA 144C-20C

Welcome to the forums.

Let's try this again. I lost it all after posting it the first time.

That furnace appears in many threads in many locations with the same problem.
Problem 1: Dirty flame sensor rod. Just cleaning with a green Scotchbrite pad is all that is necessary.
Problem 2: dirty pins in the 9-12 pin accessory plug.
................Cleaning just the pins with a little contact cleaner can be helpful.
Problem 3: intermittent gas valve connection.... external and internal.
...................Need to monitor the voltage at the gas valve when it should be firing.
