I just swapped out to a R7184B for a R7284 resideo oil primary control. I have attached all the wires which have been color-coded identically to the original controller. However, when I call for heat, I get no ignition. I know all the wiring is correct because the original well controller still works however, the new one does not ignite at all so I wonder if there is a setting I am missing, I have attached some pictures. Please let me know if anybody has suggestions. This is an Beckett oil hot air furnace.
The two units appear to have the same exact terminals in the same place.
It would have been nice if you had taken a before picture with the old module.
The only issue I'm coming up with is a possible required wire on the limit terminal.
The diagrams are showing a limit switch or jumper from L1 to limit.
Is it possible the black wire was on limit instead of L1 ?
On edit: Good job. I had been checking into this for the last half hour.

I have a Weil Mclain GV-5 series 1 gas fired boiler. I want to replace the boiler fed indirect tank with an electric hot water tank to allow me the benefit of the recently installed solar panels. The gas bill keeps going up and our electric bills are locked in at a minimal cost. Can I cap the feed and return lines feeding the Indirect tank and disable aqua stat
