In case of an emergency, how would I shut off my main gas line to the house? The meter is currently inside my home. Would I turn this knob a quarter turn in either direction, or a specific direction? I was thinking of having a crescent wrench stored next to the unit.
I do see red shutoff valves for all my other appliances (except I can't get to my stove). Thanks!

Goodman 2005 gas furnace blower runs no flashing error light. The light stays on. I have turned the power off and on. I hear 1 click the the fan starts. Thermostat is above set at 70 room temp is 61. I have tried tapping on the overheat switch. I have not taken it out. It is awkward to get to 2nd screw.
Help wife is chilly!
Nordyne model MG1E-056 , unit goes through cycle, igniter with come on, about 30 seconds, gas valve will open , burner comes on for about 8 seconds, then gas valve shuts and it starts to cycle again, red light is on, yellow light is flashing
