Goodman Furnace (7 years old) Flame sensor needs to be cleaned about 1 time per

Goodman Gas forced air furnace (Sorry don't have model info with me currently). Approximate age 7 years old. Flame sensor needs to be cleaned approximately 1 time per week, during initial fall/winter season. Seems to work fine when outside temperature is under 30 degrees. Needs cleaning more so when warmer outside temperature. I suspect humidity in basement (which is high) is causing this issue. Going to try dehumidifier in furnace room this spring. Anyone run across similar situation? Does my reasoning seem on the right track? Grounds wires all tight and secure. Thanks

That is not a normal problem. My rental houses had furnaces outside and in unfinished basements with no issues regarding the flame rollout switch. Any time the flame rollout trips I give the heat exchanger a thorough inspection.
