Hi, Can anybody help me with this. I have an indoor (A/C)unit in the attic (electric). I can't get the fan to stop. I turn the thermostat fan switch to "Auto", but the fan runs non stop. The only way to stop it is to switch off power on the unit itself. Cold air is coming fine, it's just the fan. It is getting pretty expensive to leave the fan on 24x7, and I am afraid this can cause any damage to the system. So far I have replaced the thermostat, but the problem persists. I have also replaced the filters, no luck. I wonder what else I could try before calling an expert at $85.00/hr. Thanks in advance. Andy.

My house has three air inlets to the forced air unit. One of them happens to be on the wall that is the best place to put the TV and stereo against. Problem is when the air kicks in, the volume has to be turned way up to watch TV or listen to music. I would like to 'disable' the air inlet and drywall where it used to be and pretend it never existed. Any ideas?
