Phewwww....there must be a bug in this website; it's the 4th time that I post my message after 3 failures...
I have an older model Cal Spas Hot Tub ('Supreme'model) from the early 90's and I recently moved it to my new home. I installed 240V 50A circuit and now the air blower and light works but the whirlpool jet and especially, heater are not.
I could live with whirlpool jet not working, but I have to troubleshoot and fix the heater. There's no fuse in the control module(Is it located somewhere else??) but a 'Heater
Reset' button. I tried to engage it, but it hasn't 'popped'.
Any hints or tips on troubleshooting this thing will be greatly appreciated....thanks in advance

Very frustrated

GEEZ I'm 53 years old

and play hockey. If I help you get it working can I sit in it after a game?...mj do you have an electrical meter? If you do be careful.Make sure breaker is on and check for voltage at heater terminals. If you do not have voltage at terminals make sure that you striped wires good when you placed them into circuit breaker tabs.A neighbor up the street had a similar problem with a kiln for firing ceramics. The wires were striped back but not enough. When the screws on circiut breaker were tighten part on the wires insulation was under the tab. This caused kiln to operate sometimes but not always. If the air blower and light works, which probably are 120 volts, somewhere you are missing the other leg to give you the 240 you need for the rest.PDF
